THE THIRD PAN ARAB LIVER TRANSPLANTATION CONGRESS 12-13 MARCH 2008 AMMAN - JORDAN



	AIMS • promote and encourage education, research and cooperation in the field • of liver transplantation between various liver transplant programs in • the Arab World; • raise awareness about the importance of organ donation, both at national • and regional level; • raise awareness regarding the prevention of liver diseases. SCOPE The Third Congress will focus on the following issues: • Pre and post-liver transplantation patients’ care • The role of pathology and radiology in liver transplantation • Anaesthesia and critical care management of transplant patients • Surgical issues and techniques • Psycho-social support for cirrhotic and patients for transplant • Management of infectious complications of liver transplantation • Long term complications of liver transplantation • Immune suppression in liver transplantation • Other issues
